Mullane (Dublin and Cork): On January 11, 2011, peacefully, in the care of The Little Sisters of the Poor, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny, REV. FR. FINBARR MULLANE, late Chaplin of the Sacred Heart Residential, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny, Dublin 5 and CC of Bray, Ringsend and Donnybrook and formerly of the Irish Christian Brothers, loving brother of Mary (O’Driscoll), Lillian (Lehane) and his brother-in-law Gus. Sadly missed by his loving sisters, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and a large circle of friends and his former confreres in the Irish Christian Brothers. Lying in repose in the Sacred Heart Residence. Reception into the Sacred Heart Chapel of The Little Sisters of the Poor, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny on today (Wednesday) at 5pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 10.30am, followed by removal to Cork. Reception into St. Mary’s and St. Anne Cathedral on Friday at 11.45am for 12 noon concelebrated Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitechurch, Co. Cork. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to The Little Sisters of the Poor.Requiescat in pace.
