Obituary

AHERN (Templeacre Avenue, Cork) - On February 17th, 2019 unexpectedly but peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, DENIS (DINNY), late of Cork City Council and Irish Steel; Beloved husband of Nora (nee Kelleher); devoted father of Lucia, Collette, Gerard and Ian; cherished grandfather of Michelle, Rachel, Aishling, Eoin, Peter, Svea, Lydia and Penny. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers, sister, sons-in-law Andrew and Bernard, Ian's partner Malin, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Wednesday evening at 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 7.30pm to the Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary's Cemetery, Curraghkippane. Family Flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, to the Mercy University Hospital.
