McCARTHY (Cork): On September 9, 2011, peacefully, in the loving and tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Marymount Hospice, ALFRED (ALFIE), beloved husband of Nancy (nee Crowley), Blarney Street and formerly of Gurraneredmond, Donoughmore and loving father of Mary (Ivers), Phil (Dunleavy), Bernie (Ray). Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this (Saturday) evening at 3.30pm, followed by removal to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Monday. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock.Requiescat in pace.
