O’DONOVAN (Cork and Mallow) On August 30th, 2019. GERARDINE (Ger) (nee Ryan), peacefully at the Cork University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Harry and Sheila Ryan and sister of the late Henry and Joseph. Sadly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Noel, loving sons Rory, Mike and Shane, brothers Sean and James, sisters Maura (Monaghan) and Anne (Hallihan), daughter-in-law Jane, Mike’s partner Sarah, father-in-law Michael, mother-in-law Nora, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, extended family and friends.
Reposing at home (T12 D3A3) on Sunday 1st September from 4pm with prayers at 6pm. Reception into St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock on Monday 2ndSeptember at 10.50am for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards at Lislevane Cemetery Barryroe, West Cork. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Cancer Services at Cork University Hospital.
