O’Callaghan (Cork): On June 22, 2019, peacefully, in the presence of his family, at the Mercy University Hospital, JOHN (JOHNNY), Cnoc Mhuire, Fair Street and late Great William O’Brien Street, St Anne’s Road and Rockmount FC. Husband of Ellen (nee Hurley) and loving dad of Linda, Marcella, Aisling, Jonathan, Damien, Claudia, Ian, Vanessa and the late Shane and Keith and a devoted granda and great-granda. Deeply mourned by his loving family, brothers, sisters, daughter-in-law Liz, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Monday at 7.45pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12.30pm. Funeral afterwards to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to Penny Dinners and helping the homeless.
