Murphy (Old Market Place, Cork)- On December 8th 2018 peacefully in the presence of his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, Edward(Ted), late an Post, dearly beloved husband and best friend of the late Eileen(nee O’Leary), loving father of James, Mary and the late Denis, adored grandfather of Tony, Karl and the late Denis, devoted gran gran of Andrew and Stephen. loving father-in-law of Carol. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, sisters-in-law,brother-in-law, Karl’s partner Katie, Tony’s partner Sarah, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, dear friends especially those in the Cathedral Bowls Club.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Monday at 6.30pm followed by removal to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass Tuesday at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Blackrock. Fresh flowers only.
