Obituary

Buckley (Hollyville, Hollyhill, Cork) on July 26th, 2018, peacefully after a short illness in the presence of his loving family and in the dedicated care of the staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Donal (Duxer); Dearly beloved husband of the late Julia (Sheila) (nee Prendergast), adored father of Anthony, Teresa (Field), Brian, Robert and Elaine (Scanlon). Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Saturday evening at 4pm followed by Removal to St. Mary’s on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice.
