Obituary

BYRNE (Cork) on May 7th 2018 peacefully, after a long illness braverly borne at the Cork University Hospital, GERALD (Farranferris Avenue) late of Dunnes Stores, Ballyvolane and mature student at UCC and member of Foras Cork City FC; Beloved only son of Thomas and the late Anne (nee O'Callaghan). Sadly missed by his sisters Mary Swayne (Ballymacoda), Therese Constantin (Switzerland), Grainne O'Donnell (Ballyvolane), brothers-in-law Aidan, Jean-Claude and Con, nephews and niece Colm Swayne, Owen, Liam, Nevin Constantin, Sean and Sinead O'Donnell, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends especially Martin.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm followed by Removal to The Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
