Obituary

Sweeney (Redemption Road, Cork) on January 29th, 2018, peacefully after a short illness in the presence of her loving family at The Cork University Hospital, Kathleen (Kate) (nee Murnane); Dearly beloved wife of the late Denis, devoted and cherished mother of Denis, Jerry and the late Breda, darling grandmother to Cian, Blaithnaid, Colm and Sarah-Kate, much loved sister of Mary. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by her heartbroken family, nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law Carol and Karen, sister-in-law Kathleen, relatives, kind neighbours and her many dear friends.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Wednesday evening at 5.30pm followed by Removal to The Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 2.00pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Lachteen's Cemetery, Grenagh.
