HEGARTY (Cork) on November 24th, 2017, peacefully, at the Mercy University Hospital, CON, Templeacre Avenue, Gurranabraher (late Maintenance, Cork University Hospital). Beloved husband of the late Nora (nee Walsh), loving father of Denis, Noreen, Patricia, Jimmy, Carol, Willie (O’Riordan) & the late Chrissie & Michael and loving brother of Michael, Matthew, Noreen, Chrissie, John, Eily, Timmy and the late Frances, Annie and Paddy. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Monday at 6:30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11:00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Irish Guide Dogs.
