O’CONNELL (Blarney Street and formerly of Blarney, Co. Cork) on October 2nd, 2017, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, JOHN (late of The Mercy Hospital); Much loved husband of Kathleen (nee Allen), devoted dad of Kieran, Michelle, Adrian and the late Mark. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, sisters, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours and his many dear friends.

Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Wednesday evening at 6.45pm followed by Removal to The Church of the Most Precious Blood, Clogheen. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Senan’s Cemetery, Tower, Blarney, Co. Cork. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association.
