Scanlon (Farranferris Crescent, Farranree, Cork) - On September 13th, 2017 peacefully in the dedicated care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Catherine's Ward, Mercy University Hospital, Maurice (Mossie), dearly beloved husband of Mary (nee Ahern), much loved father of Ger, Deirdre (Horgan), Gillian (Kenneally), Sandra (Andrews), Maurice and Gary and fond brother of John, Noel, Pat and the late Nora. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his loving family, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours and his many dear friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Friday evening at 6.30pm followed by Removal to the Church of The Resurrection, Farranree. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10am.
