MCCARTHY (Cork) on August 4th, 2017, peacefully in the tender and loving care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St. Joseph's Unit, St. finbarr's Hospital, ABINA (BRIDIE) (nee Scannell), Wolfe Tone Street, (late Our House Bar, Shandon Street); Beloved wife of the late Eddie and loving mother of Fr. Patrick (PP. Ss. Peter & Paul's Church), Dan and Mary. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren Leonard, Craig, Danielle and Grace, great-grandchildren Freya and Benjamin, nephews, nieces, daughter-in-law Martina, sister-in-law Betty, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Saturday at 7pm followed by Removal to Ss. Peter & Paul's Church. Requiem Mass on Monday at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
