McCARTHY (Monastery Avenue, Monastery Hill and formerly of St. Philomena's Road, Cathedral Road, Cork): On March 29, 2011, peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne with great courage and dignity and in the presence of his loving family, at his home, SEAN (SEANIE) (late of B&I and Apollo Cabs), darling husband and best friend of Mary (nee Kenneally), devoted dad of Shane, Paul, Gillian, Barry and Ryan, adored granddad of Holly and Brendan, much loved son of the late John and Elizabeth (nee Fouhy). Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken wife, children, grandchildren, brothers Derek and Pat, sister Helen, nephews, uncles, aunts, daughter-in-law Ashling, Paul's partner Susan, Gillian's partner Alan, Barry's partner Denise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Removal on this (Wednesday) evening at 5.30pm to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm.
