Downey (Cork): On March 11, 2011, unexpectedly, at the Cork University Hospital, TONY, Spriggs Road, Gurranabraher (late of Cork Plaster Mouldings and Cork City Ring League), beloved husband of Alice (nee Croke) and loving father of Cathrina, Jennifer, Anthony and Shane and loving son of John and the late Eily. Sadly missed by his loving wife, his daughters and their partners Adrian and Michael, his sons and their partners Rachel and Cynthia, grandchildren Jordan and Brooke, father, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Removal on this (Monday) evening at 7pm to the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am.
