Obituary
PIERCE (Cork): On February 21, 2011 (peacefully), in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital, BRENDAN, Tivoli (late Irish Distillers and Highfield Rugby Club), beloved husband of Eileen (nee Healy) and loving father of Eddie, Mark, Brendan and Des. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grand- children, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Removal on today (Tuesday) at 6pm to St Patrick's Church, Rochestown. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Joseph's Cemetery, Little Island. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to Children's Leukaemia Ward, Mercy University Hospital. Requiescat in pace.
